  • CHADD Support Group (Children and Adults with Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder)

    CHADD is the nation's leading non-profit organization serving individuals with AD/HD and their families. CHADD has over 16,000 members in 200 local chapters throughout the U.S. Chapters offer support for individuals, parents, teachers, professionals, and others.   • Parents Empowering Parents

    Parent Empowering Parents is a free support group open to all parents or guardians of children with disabilities. We meet the last Wednesday of every month. Lunchtime PEP meets from 11:30 to 12:30 on STIC’s 4th floor, Helen Keller Room. Evening PEP meets from 6 PM to 7:30 PM At The PAL Family Resource Center, 45 Lewis Street, Binghamton.   • Southern Tier Asperger Syndrome Support Group. Held 3rd Saturday of every month from 1:00-3:00 p.m. at Wilson Hospital, Picciano Building, 4th floor - Room 5-A. A support group for individuals (mainly adults over the age of 18) with Asperger's Syndrome or other similar Pervasive Developmental disorders such as High Functioning Autism or Pervasive Developmental Disorder - Not Otherwise Specified (PDD-NOS).     Supports adoptive, foster, and kinship care families who are raising children with special needs.

    This group meets the 2nd Monday of every month at 6:30pm at the Cafe Connection in Norwich.

  • Chenango County Autism Support Group: Provides support and information to families raising children with autism spectrum disorders including PDD-NOS, Asperger Syndrome, and Sensory Integration Disorder.
