  • STAR Group

    The Parent Support Group that meets at the Delaware County Resource Center, Hamden, NY has been renamed “The STAR Group”; the name stands for Sharing Tools and Resources and is reflective of what transpires during the meetings.
    Families of children with disabilities share their own personal experiences of what has or has not worked during their journey to understanding and advocating for their children; they participate in workshops, are exposed to various resources, and learn techniques that enhance their children’s lives.
